The Problem

Women’s Health Center of Southern Oregon was experiencing connectivity issues with its wireless Internet. Since electronic patient records should be updated immediately after an exam, this issue forced doctors to spend more time in their offices and less time with their patients. As plans to move into a brand new state-of-the-art building approached, the urgency for a dependable, integrated solution intensified on a daily basis.

The Solution

Kelley Connect custom-developed the infrastructure to support Women’s Health Center’s business objectives. This included the installation of on-site servers, a cutting-edge phone system, network switching and secure firewall. Kelley Connect also provided secure wireless connections and access points throughout the entire building so that doctors could go from one exam room to the other while securely making notes to a patient’s electronic file using a tablet. Lastly, Kelley Connect audited the system to ensure that it satisfied all HIPAA requirements prior to installation.
